RZR Tours Cozumel, run by the Adventure Planet group, uses four-seat Polaris RZR side-by-sides rather than single quads, which suits families and anyone who would rather not drive a quad alone. Departures are from the SSA International and Punta Langosta cruise piers.
Three itineraries are published. The Cozumel Razor Adventure to Jade Caverns is $85 per person over five hours and adds Chulas Beach Club, a bilingual guide, refreshments, snorkel gear, lunch and a jungle trek. RZR to Punta Sur Park and the crocodile lagoon is $85 per person over four and a half hours, sold as a private departure with a minimum of eight passengers, and includes park entry and lunch. The RZR City and Beach Aqua Park run is $95 per person over four hours, taking in downtown, Cenote Aerolito, Chulas Beach Club and a tequila stop.
Vehicles are four-seat Polaris RZRs with certified guides and safety gear supplied. A $5 deposit holds each seat. The Punta Sur route needs a minimum of eight people to run as a private group.
Cenote Aerolito sits in the Laguna Ciega on Cozumel itself and is a genuine island cenote, not one of the mainland systems. If you want the classic cavern dives of Chac Mool or Dos Ojos, those are on the mainland and involve the Playa del Carmen ferry. Everything on these routes stays at sea level, so a RZR day is fine straight after diving.
Meet at the SSA International or Punta Langosta cruise pier. Booking and questions go through the site's chat, and guides work in English and Spanish.
