This is Cozumel ATV & Cave Tour

Overview

This is Cozumel is an island travel agency that sells its own ATV and cave tour along with a separate version packaged for cruise passengers. It is one of the cheaper ways onto the jungle track, and the agency answers on a local WhatsApp number as well as a US toll-free line.

What The Tour Covers

The circuit runs about two and a half hours with roughly two hours of riding, ending at the Jade Cavern. The cavern holds clear fresh water, rare orchids and stalactites, with turtles and bats often visible, and there is a Mayan cave section on the same route. Helmets, bandanas, safety goggles and water are included, life vests are supplied and required for swimming, and first-time drivers get a video lesson before setting off.

Group Size And Vehicles

Automatic Honda and Yamaha ATVs, one or two riders per machine. A single rider pays $65 and two sharing pay $60 each. Drivers must be aged 18 to 70 with a valid licence. Passengers must be at least 8 years old and 4 ft tall.

Good To Know

The tour base is in the southern part of the island: 10 to 20 minutes from the south hotels, 25 to 30 from downtown and the ferry, and 30 to 40 from the north hotels. Cruise passengers should book the separate ATV Cruise Excursion instead, which includes transfers. The Jade Cavern is a Cozumel cavern, not one of the mainland cenotes that divers travel to Tulum for. There is no altitude gain, so this is fine on a non-diving day.

Getting There

Getting to the base is your own responsibility on the standard tour, most easily by fixed-rate taxi from your hotel.
