Buccanos Grill & Beach Club

Buccanos sits directly on the water in the Zona Hotelera Norte at kilometre 4.5, on a site that has been a Cozumel beach club since 1960. It works two ways: a daytime beach club with loungers, swimming and a bar, and an evening restaurant that turns into a proper oceanfront dinner room.

What To Order

The kitchen is seafood-forward. Ceviches and grilled fish are the core of it, with lobster, steaks and rotating seasonal specials. The bar programme runs alongside a wine bar, and the site also hosts a spa and sunset charters if you are stitching together a full day off the boat.

Good To Know

This is the north-shore side of the island, not downtown, so it is the natural pick on a day you are not diving or after a morning boat back into Marina Fonatur. Getting There

Carretera Costera Norte Km 4.5, north of San Miguel toward the Westin. It is a ten-to-fifteen minute taxi from downtown, and taxis wait at the entrance for the run back.
