For divers it is a cheap way to reach a marina on the south hotel-zone road, or to get out to the east coast on a surface-interval day when you cannot dive.

Rates And What's Included

The shop publishes a basic package at $40 USD for a full eight-hour day, discounted to $25 USD when booked in advance, and a full package at $50 USD for eight hours or $35 USD booked ahead. A straight 24-hour hire is listed at $35 USD, three days at $30 USD per day and seven days at $25 USD per day. Fuel is not included, so budget for a tank.

Insurance And Deposit

The basic package carries liability insurance only. The full package adds collision cover. Ask what the deductible is and what voids the policy before you sign, and photograph the scooter from all sides at pickup so existing scratches are on record.

Good To Know

The shop is closed on Sundays. Helmets are compulsory in Quintana Roo and are supplied with the bike. Cozumel's ring road is easy riding, but watch for topes, blown sand on the east coast and afternoon rain.
