EagleRider Cozumel

EagleRider Cozumel is the island's full-size motorcycle rental, working out of Avenida Rafael E. Melgar on the waterfront. Where most Cozumel shops hand you a 125cc scooter, this one runs Harley-Davidson cruisers alongside BMW GS Adventure, KTM 1290 Adventure and Honda XR machines, and also arranges guided island rides.

Rates And What's Included

Bikes are offered on daily, weekend and weekly rates that vary by model, with a cruiser priced very differently from an adventure bike. Rates are quoted on enquiry, so ask for the all-in figure including tax and any mileage terms before booking.

Insurance And Deposit

A full motorcycle licence is required, not a car licence. Confirm what liability and damage cover is included, what the excess is on each model, and how large the security hold will be, as it is substantially higher than on a scooter.

Good To Know

Cozumel is a small island and a lap of the paved ring road takes a couple of hours at a relaxed pace, so the appeal here is the machine rather than the mileage. The east coast road is the best riding on the island, with long open bends and no towns. It is also windy and often has sand across the surface, so read the road.
