View DetailsWoodys sits right on Avenida Benito Juárez looking onto Parque Benito Juárez, the main square, which makes it one of the easiest places downtown to fall into after a day on the boats.
An open-fronted bar and grill with street-side seating and a full bar. Live music is a regular fixture in the evenings, and the menu runs to Italian and Mexican plates alongside the usual bar food, with vegetarian and gluten-free options. Because it opens at 9:00 it also works as a late-morning stop, and it has televisions if there is a game on. The square outside is busy on cruise days and quieter once the ships have left.
Open daily 9:00 to midnight. Mid-range prices for Cozumel. There is free Wi-Fi, outdoor seating and table service, and credit cards are accepted. The location is about one block inland from the Malecón waterfront and a short walk from the passenger ferry pier, so it is convenient whether you are staying in Centro or coming back from a southern-zone dive shop by taxi.
Walk to the main square. Woodys is on Avenida Benito Juárez between Avenida 5 and Avenida 10, on the inland side of the plaza. From the ferry pier it is under five minutes on foot; from the marinas south of town, take a taxi to the plaza.
