Cafe de Isla sits on 15 Avenida in Cozumel's Centro, a few blocks inland from the waterfront and the cruise piers. It is a small independent place rather than a chain, and the walk east off Melgar is what keeps it quieter than the cafes on the seafront.

On a dive day this is a pre-boat stop rather than a post-dive one — most morning boats leave before the town has properly woken up.
