Cafe de Isla sits on 15 Avenida in Cozumel's Centro, a few blocks inland from the waterfront and the cruise piers. It is a small independent place rather than a chain, and the walk east off Melgar is what keeps it quieter than the cafes on the seafront.

Good To Know

Small cafes in Centro keep their own hours and often close early or take a day off midweek, particularly outside high season. If you are heading there specifically, check before you walk over. On a dive day this is a pre-boat stop rather than a post-dive one — most morning boats leave before the town has properly woken up.
