ATV Rental Cozumel

ATV Rental Cozumel is one of the few places on the island that rents quads to drive yourself rather than selling a guided tour. The office is on Avenida Benito Juarez in the center, between 10 and 15 Avenida, and the fleet runs to single-rider and two-up machines.

Rates And What's Included

The shop quotes single and double ATVs on both a full-day and a 24-hour basis. Rates move with the season, so get the current figure and the return time in writing at the counter. Fuel is normally the renter's responsibility.

Insurance And Deposit

Liability insurance is included with the rental. Ask what the collision deductible is if you take extra cover, and confirm what the security hold will be before your card is run. Photograph the quad, including the plastics and the tyres, before you leave the shop.

Good To Know

Quads are heavier and wider than a scooter and behave differently on sand and on the loose gravel that blows across the east coast road. They are not permitted on protected land or park trails, so the realistic route is the paved ring road, the cross-island highway and the beach-club car parks. If you plan to dive the same day, ride afterwards rather than before.

Getting There

Avenida Benito Juarez between 10 and 15 Avenida, downtown. The shop puts a taxi from the Puerta Maya cruise terminal at around ten minutes.
