Rates And What's Included

Rates vary by vehicle and season and are quoted directly by the shop, usually over WhatsApp. Confirm in writing what the daily rate covers, whether fuel is included and what time the vehicle is due back, since a full day and a 24-hour hire are priced differently across the island.

Insurance And Deposit

Ask specifically whether the quote is liability-only or includes collision cover, what the deductible is, and how the security hold is taken. As everywhere in Cozumel, photograph or film the vehicle from every angle at pickup and again at return.

Good To Know

The shop delivers to hotels and picks up on request, which is useful if you are staying out on the south hotel-zone road. Helmets are compulsory for scooters in Quintana Roo. If you are driving straight to a dive shop, remember tanks and weights do not travel well on two wheels.
