Clear Boat Cozumel by Transparent Boat Tours

Clear Boat Cozumel runs a completely transparent hulled boat straight out of downtown San Miguel, so you look down through the floor at the reef and wrecks without getting wet unless you want to. It is short, novel and shallow-water, which makes it one of the few boat activities on the island that works for people who genuinely do not want to swim.

What The Trip Includes

Two drinks per person, either water or beer, professional life jackets, sanitised snorkelling masks and tubes, and a bilingual certified guide. The route passes the sunken navy ships lying at around eighteen metres, the Lego Reef zone and the La Pared reef wall, with an optional snorkel stop.

Boat And Group Size

The transparent boat carries a group of roughly ten to fifteen people, and the whole trip runs about an hour and a half.

Good To Know

This is a viewing trip first and a snorkel trip second, so it suits small children, nervous swimmers and anyone sitting out a dive day. It is also short enough to slot around a cruise call or between two dives without eating the whole afternoon.
