Cozumel Best Tours

Overview

Cozumel Best Tours is a local operator running small-group snorkel trips to three different reefs at one of the lowest published rates on the island. It is a no-frills, good-value option rather than a luxury catamaran day, and the pickup arrangement makes it particularly easy for cruise passengers on a short port call.

What The Trip Includes

Complete snorkel gear, three reef stops, fresh water, soft drinks and beer, and a bilingual English and Spanish guide. A free tequila tour is thrown in at the end. Adults are $30, children aged four to nine pay a reduced rate, and children three and under are free excluding food.

Boat And Group Size

Trips are run as small groups. Parties of ten or more get special pricing, and larger private arrangements can be quoted directly by phone or email.

Good To Know

Departure times are flexible and built around cruise schedules, which makes this a practical fallback if your ship docks late. Because it is snorkel-only, it works well for a non-diving partner or as a light surface-interval afternoon.

Getting There

Pickup is within a short walk of all three cruise terminals: five minutes from the International Pier, seven minutes from Puerta Maya and five minutes from Punta Langosta. Hotel and condo pickup is available for southern island addresses, and Playa del Carmen pier pickup can be arranged subject to conditions. The office is on Third Street South between Avenida 20 and Avenida 25.

Highlights

  • • $30 per adult for a three-reef snorkel trip
  • • Walking pickup from all three cruise piers
  • • Bilingual guides and full gear included
  • • Group rates for parties of ten or more
