Eco Divers Cozumel is a PADI dive center running the full recreational path, and it publishes prices in US dollars.

Completing PADI eLearning before you arrive takes USD 50 off the Open Water, Advanced and Rescue course prices.

The specialty list published by the shop includes Enriched Air Diver, Deep Diver, Drift Diver, Boat Diver, Multilevel Diver, Underwater Photographer and Fish Identification, along with Project AWARE and Coral Reef Conservation. Younger divers are catered for: children from age 10 can do Discover Scuba or earn a Junior Open Water certification, and the shop lists PADI Seal Team, Bubblemaker and Skin Diver programmes.

Boats and Group Size

Eco Divers Cozumel caps certified-diver groups at four per bilingual PADI Divemaster.

That is the single most useful number on this page. For comparison, PADI permits considerably larger guided groups, and busy Cozumel operations routinely run 8 to 12 divers behind one guide. A 1:4 ratio changes three practical things: your guide notices your air and your buoyancy, the group moves at a pace set by the group rather than the fastest diver, and small critters actually get pointed out.

Eco Divers Cozumel is at 10a Ave. x 1a Sur #201, Col. Centro, Cozumel, Q. Roo, Mexico 77600.

That is a downtown San Miguel address, a short walk inland from the waterfront and the ferry terminal, in the grid where most of the island's independent shops sit. If you are staying in town, you walk. The boats do not leave from the shop — they leave from Caleta marina, and the 8:30am shop meet is the assembly point before that transfer.

Hotel pick-up is available for resorts in the southern area of the island inside the Marine Park. The shop notes that surcharges are possible for pick-ups, so confirm the arrangement when you book rather than assuming it is free.

Prices and What's Included

Eco Divers Cozumel publishes course prices in USD but does not publish a certified-diver two-tank boat price on its site.

What is published and unambiguous: the course table above, snorkelling adventures at USD 40 including equipment, soft drinks and purified water, and the fact that equipment rental, purified water, Coca-Cola and snacks are included on dive trips.

What is not published: the fun-dive rate for certified divers, nitrox fill pricing, and specialty course prices. You will need to ask. Given the shop responds to enquiries within 36 hours, a single WhatsApp message covers it.

One cost that applies island-wide regardless of shop: the Cozumel Marine Park fee, which every operator collects for dives inside the park boundary. Ask whether it is bundled or added.

Eco Divers Cozumel suits divers who value group size over amenities.

Who Might Prefer a Different Shop

Eco Divers Cozumel is small, and small has trade-offs.

If you need guaranteed nitrox fills, a large rental fleet with multiple sizes and configurations, or a dedicated technical diving programme, a larger operation will serve you better — the shop lists Enriched Air Diver as a course but does not publish fill availability or pricing.

If you want an afternoon or night dive schedule published in advance, or a shop that runs multiple departures a day, note that the published rhythm here is a single morning trip.

If you are on a cruise ship with a tight all-aboard time, a 9:00am departure returning around 2:00pm works, but you should confirm timing directly rather than assume — a small operation flexes its schedule less than a high-volume one.

And if you specifically want cenote day trips on the mainland, private photo guides or blackwater diving, those are not among the services Eco Divers publishes.
