Grand Park Royal Cozumel is a two-tower, 348-room all-inclusive on the coast just south of San Miguel, near the SSA international cruise terminal. It is one of the closer big resorts to town, which is its main advantage for divers.
Diving From Here
The resort has private ocean access and dive boats collect guests there, so a morning dive does not begin with a taxi to Marina Fonatur. Being just south of San Miguel also means the downtown independent dive shops are a short, cheap ride rather than a twenty-minute run down the coast road — useful if you want to book different operators through the week. Stay-and-dive packages sold through island operators have been published at around 1,405 USD for seven nights with six dives.
Rooms And Facilities
348 rooms across two towers, with ocean-view and beachfront categories. Multiple infinity pools, hot tubs and ocean-view jacuzzis near the beach, swim-up pool bars, a kids club and a water slide. The all-inclusive plan covers food, drinks, activities and sports.
Good To Know
The resort does not publish its street address, a direct Mexican phone line or nightly rates on its own marketing site, so confirm those with the operator or your agent at booking. Being next to the cruise terminal means busy days when several ships are in.
Getting There
Just south of San Miguel on the coast road — a few minutes by taxi to the central square, the ferry terminal and Marina Fonatur.
