Cozumel Palace

Cozumel Palace is the all-inclusive that sits in town rather than out on the hotel strip, on Avenida Rafael E. Melgar at Km 1.5 on the southern edge of the Centro. For divers that combination — full board plus a walkable downtown plus a private dock — is rare on this island.

Diving From Here

The resort has its own dock on the property, and use of it is restricted to hotel guests with no pier-use fee charged. That means dive operators can collect you from the resort itself instead of you taxiing to Marina Fonatur at dawn. Several downtown independent shops are also within walking distance along Melgar, so you are not locked into one operator. Stay-and-dive packages sold through island operators have been published at around 1,965 USD for seven nights and six dives.

Good To Know

The resort does not publish an on-site dive center of its own, so diving is arranged with an outside operator that picks up at your dock — worth confirming your shop is allowed to use it when you book. Rates are not published on the Palace site; you have to run a date search.

Getting There

Walking distance to the central square, the malecon and the ferry terminal. Marina Fonatur is a short taxi south if your operator boards there instead.
