Hotel B Cozumel

Hotel B Cozumel is a small, design-conscious hotel on the north coast at Carretera Playa San Juan Km 2.5, facing open water on the ironshore side of the island. It attracts couples and repeat visitors more than dive groups, but it works fine as a dive base if you plan the logistics.

Diving From Here

There is no hotel-owned dive center. The hotel's dive partner is Island Divers, which offers preferred rates to Hotel B guests, and specialised snorkelling and diving equipment rentals are arranged through the hotel. Because the north shore has no reef diving of its own, every boat day means heading south — either your operator collects you or you taxi to Marina Fonatur or the downtown piers, so factor in twenty minutes each way. The hotel does not publish dedicated rinse tanks or gear lockers.

Rooms And Facilities

Rooms are oceanfront with a pool on site. The setting is quiet, adult in feel, and the sea in front is entered off ironshore rather than sand.

Good To Know

This is a hotel chosen for its design and its sunsets rather than for dive logistics. If your priority is being first on the boat every morning, a south-side property with its own pier will serve you better. If your priority is somewhere your non-diving partner is happy to spend the day, this is a strong option.

Getting There

A few minutes by taxi north of the ferry terminal and the central square, and close to the airport. Not a comfortable walk with a kit bag.
