Overview

Condumel is a small block of oceanfront apartments on Cozumel''s north shore, just south of the marina and a short walk north of the town center. It has been renting to divers and snorkellers for years and its appeal is simple: you can get into the water without going anywhere.

Diving From Here

There is direct water access from the property by ladder, stairs and a diving board, and guests consistently rate the snorkelling straight off the front as among the best on the island. That makes it a genuinely useful base for shakedown swims, camera testing and lazy surface days between boat trips. For boat diving you are ten to fifteen minutes'' walk from the downtown shops and the piers, or a short taxi to Marina Fonatur. The property does not publish a dedicated rinse tank or dive locker, so plan to rinse on the terrace.

Rooms And Facilities

Eight oceanfront units, each with a complete kitchen — stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender and refrigerator — pre-stocked with beverages and basics that you pay for as you use them. That is a practical arrangement when you land late and dive early.

Good To Know

Published rates run 130 USD per night in low season, 145 USD shoulder and 185 USD high, with a three-night minimum. The shoreline is ironshore rather than sand, and the units are apartments rather than a serviced hotel.
