Meet Ana Isabel — Your Cozumel Dive Instructor
Ana Isabel is a PADI instructor based in Cozumel, teaching everything from a first breath underwater through to professional-level training.
Her approach is built around three things she names herself: safety, precision and passion. She holds a deep respect for the ocean and for the diving profession, and treats protecting the environment as part of the job rather than an add-on.
She trained in Playa del Carmen, started working in La Paz, returned to Playa, and moved to Cozumel in 2017.

Experience and Background
Ana Isabel's work goes beyond ordinary reef instruction. Since moving to Cozumel she has adapted her scuba skills to acrobatic water shows — providing underwater safety and training for performers and technicians alike, and advising on how underwater show elements are installed and maintained.
On professional training, she has a clear view: the relationship between an instructor and a divemaster candidate is a rare and valuable one, and it deserves to be fostered rather than treated as a production line. Care for the humans, as she puts it.
